Rutherford Technical Services ensures that all participants gain from training and assessment activities.
Debbie Admoni provides Rutherford Technical Services with specialist services in Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LL&N) programes.
Within the private sector, Debbie has successfully implemented literacy and numeracy programes in the workplace and achieved excellent results for her learners in external exams.
Modules were developed to integrate literacy with industry requirements for a number of manufacturers and her training encompassed both the outcomes based and problem solving approach, leading to improved learner performance and job outputs.
These outcomes are further enhanced by a holistic pre-assessment of learners which reduce the drop-out rate in the workplace.
Within industry, public and education sectors, Debbie has achieved success in the development and implementation of:
- Adult Basic Education Programmes (ABET) - including development of customised learning materials, training and support for ABE tutors and developing ABET examinations for the Independent Examination Board (SA)
- Computer based literacy training including support programmes for disadvantaged learners
- The WELL programe within industry and TAFE
- Conducting needs analysis and identifying training needs within a workforce including development of skills plans for the business
- Workshops to motivate and train company stakeholders to implement skills development, including literacy, as a means of achieving business goals and objectives and maintaining a competitive advantage
Debbie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (English and Psychology), and has since completed a Higher Diploma in Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Training & Development and CELTA(Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). In addition, Debbie has trained, co-ordinated and developed literacy programes within the private and education sectors since 1993.

Debbie is providing a specialist service for Rutherford Technical Services, integrating English Language, Literacy & Numeracy in the Food Processing Industry Training Package (FDF98) for use in all food industry sectors to maximise training outcomes and workplace application.
