The Rutherford 100 Point Check provides a cost effective and useful tool which
gives you peace of mind and confidence in your food handling activities, as part
of the overall care provided by your organisation.

The 100 Point Check is a unique opportunity for your organisation to have access
to our qualified Food Technologists; to benchmark your current food safety status
and to provide advice on further improvements, in order to reduce and control
food safety risks in your kitchen.

What areas are covered?

For aged care facilities, the Rutherford 100 Point Check provides DONs, Quality Managers, Catering Managers and Kitchen Supervisors with an overview of the food handling facility and kitchen operations with regards to best practice activities in Health and Aged Care facilities.

For schools, the Rutherford 100 Point Check provides Principals, P&Cs, Canteen Committees and canteen operators with an overview of the food handling area and canteen operations with regards to best practice standards.

  • food storage

  • cleaning

  • waste control

  • monitoring

  • staff activities

What does my organisation receive?

Once the 100 Point Check has been completed, we provide your organisation with an easy-to-read report containing:

  • a percentage (%) score for each area covered

  • items/areas of non-compliance

  • an improvement plan

The report can be used in management and staff meetings, kitchen team meetings, canteen team meetings and as third party evidence for your HACCP Food Safety Plan. The report can also be used as part of the Aged Care Accreditation requirements.

What is the cost?

The cost of the 100 Point Check is only $375.00 + GST.
